How You all learnt english well ?

I learned from cartoon network when i was a kid. At school they kept teaching me deutsch for almost 8 years of my life ! It ended bad Later on i studied english from computer games, movies and couple of Celine Dion songs I never studied english in school, or at private lessons, and look where it taken me ?

Of corse! Computer Games, me too... but only FPS, i couldn't play RPG in english, it's would be too hard

Playing RPG-s is a good way to learn english (item names, creatures, spells, locations etc). Basically there are two ways to master a foreign language. Learn it (improving grammar and vocabulary by memorising new words) or practise (reading books, watching movies, playing computer games). Every way is good, but i think it's the best to use both of them.

Why not ? I did it. I even almost get myself onto english philology after highschool. I failed exams at the speaking part - but that was because of my shyness.

Either way - you should try it. For start take some hack`n`slash games - it`s almost rpg, but has a few times less texts.

Another good option - take your favorite film, and turn off text, or turn on english subtitles. Because it will be your favorite film - you will know whats happening, even if you will not understand every word spoken by the actors. And because of that you can match situation on the screen with spoken words to the text you remembered from polish version of it.

Well, it's always something, much better thank listening to the records. Such a travel won't teach you English well, but it's good for a vacation, when most of students don't have English practice.
